Relay For Life is 18 hours of fun, with the challenge of completing a walk or run relay style within a team of 10-15 people. Surf Life Saving Queensland Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) is the state’s beach safety and rescue authority and is one of the largest volunteer-based community service organisations in Australia. Throughout Queensland, there are 6 branches and 59 Surf Life Saving Clubs with close to 36,000 members.

4 ASD Kids In 2010, Mat and Chloe Rogers revealed to the public their son Max’s struggle with autism. Following the outpouring of support from the public, Mat and Chloe set up the 4 ASD Kids charity with the hope of helping other families with children battling with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By assisting families into accessing the early intervention treatment that’s needed, Mat and Chloe hope other families will be able to see their children lead normal lives and reach their true potential. RACQ CareFlight RACQ CareFlight is a not-for-profit community rescue helicopter service supporting the communities of southern Queensland.
With a response time as little as six minutes, RACQ CareFlight has helped more than 16,000 sick and injured patients. A critical care doctor and QAS paramedic are on board for every mission and the service is provided at no direct cost to patients.
After 30 years, the communities of southern Queensland provide RACQ CareFlight with almost half of their much-needed funds.
HELP Foundation Founded by Gold Coast Suns Reserve Coach, Shaun Hart; the HELP Foundation provides assistance to families and individuals who are struggling with their financial situation. There are two major arms of HELP – Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and Feed The Need.
CAP is a free, award-winning debt counseling service educating people how to manage their finances by budgeting and prioritising their financial situation. CAP also offers a lifetime solution to managing debt.
Feed The Need provides hampers or food vouchers to needy families all year (not just Christmas). Over the past three years, Feed The Need has helped hundreds of families.
