Well summer is over and this means the end of another festival season. We once again were lucky this summer with lots to choose from in our area; Summerfieldayze, The Big Day Out, Good Vibrations and Soundwave just to name a few.

I have attached a couple of pictures from some of my highlights.  I would love to hear from you and your favourite festival experiences and favourite acts.

The good news is not long to wait for the next big festival which is Blues &  Roots at Byron Bay.

Surfing and ‘the Ironman’ - an Olympic event
The Summer Olympics need to give themselves an uppercut and one on the follow through.

How can they leave the legendary Ironman and Ironwoman events out of the games yet include synchronized swimming and BMX?

It’s the Summer Olympics and nothing says Summer like the Ironmen and Ironwomen events. And, for that matter surfing should be an event as well. How can fencing be a summer sport and not Surfing and the Ironman?

I am collecting numbers of people who believe these 2 great sports should be at the Olympics.
