Harry is a bit of an all-rounder. He’s the only person to have completed every single running event at the Gold Coast Marathon.
* Junior Dashes x2
* 5 km race
* 10 km race
* Half Marathon (at 14 yo)
* Full Marathon (at 15 yo)

He’s a 3 times finisher of the grueling 96 km Kokoda Challenge on the Gold Coast. This year he was a member of the Kokoda Challenge school team (Elanora’s Hogan’s Heroes) that broke the school team record and won the school’s event. Harry cycled 1,000 kms across Australia to support his oldest brother’s ride across Australia for charity.

He’s also a keen volleyball player, captaining his school team to 4th at the recent Queensland Schools Volleyball Cup held in Toowoomba. He’s also the captain of a social team that plays against adults - the team were grand finalists this year.

Harry plays soccer for his local Palm Beach soccer team (has for 10 years) and is the current Elanora High Junior Sportsperson of the Year.

Peter has been playing AFL for the Mudgeeraba Saints for over five years and this year is the captain of the under 11’s team. He has a passion for the game, all you have to do is see the posters plastered on the walls of his bedroom and when he’s not playing he’s watching it on tv. Mum doesn’t understand how he can get up before 6am on the weekend to play footy but can’t get up before 7am to go to school. All I can say is he is a very dedicated eleven year old!

Sport of Interest: Rowing, Tennis & CyclingHolly does triathlons, rowing, cricket, tennis and has recently just started up kung-fu! She does a great job in all, and puts in 110% effort.

Last year, Holly competed in her first triathlon and was selected to represent South Coast a few months later. Since 2007, Holly has represented South Coast in girls cricket. She took up rowing at the beginning of last year and won 1st place in the double with her partner at the South Queensland championships by 0.6 of a second and went on to place 8th overall at state level in the double, and placed 4th in the semi’s at states in the single skull.

I am so proud of her that she has managed to keep up her sport and academics and music at the same time!

Teeghan has been a cheerleader for 4 years, and has represented the Gold Coast and Queensland at a number of competitions over this period. She is hoping her and her team will represent the Gold coast in New Zealand at the end of the year.

My son’s first year playing rugby and he never gives up absolutely tries his hardest his tackles and tries STAND OUT.. He is a brilliant player for his first season. He is a natural and last weeks try that he made was called over the microphone as sensational. He was named man of the match this week through Southport High School team. His dedication and determination are worthy of this award. I am just so proud of his ability. BRILLIANT PLAYER

Sport of Interest: Cheer Leading

Nicky has been with the Titanettes since 2008, she trains 3 nights a week Monday 6-8, Wednesday 5-7 and Thursday 6-8. She cheers at every home game as pre-match entertainment and at half time. Many may not think that cheerleading is a sport, however she recently competed in the World Cup Cheer Regional Championships as part of the Ikin Titans Cheer Squad.

She is also in the year 8 soccer team for Marymount and they are on the top of the ladder. She has managed to maintain high grades and is also a model featuring in this months (June) Total Girl Magazine. She is year 8 at Marymount College.
